Three things to know
- Full moon is a phase of illumination, not a personal prediction.
- Release can mean changing a habit or setting a boundary.
- A shared reflection does not require sharing private details.
Use the light as a reminder.
Around full moon, the Moon is opposite the Sun in our sky and the side facing Earth appears fully illuminated. You can use this phase as a recurring invitation to reflect. The ritual does not depend on being outdoors, seeing the Moon or believing it causes your emotions.
Release something you can actually set down.
Name an optional task, a repeated check or an expectation you could loosen. Releasing does not mean suppressing feelings or forcing forgiveness. Do not make a major decision simply because a ritual says it is time. Choose a small, reversible change and notice whether it helps.
Make room for connection.
In a circle, offer one question and time to listen. Each person can pass. Ask before offering advice, avoid predictions about someone else’s relationship or finances, and let personal details stay off the shared page. A useful group ritual leaves people with agency and a next step.
Reflect, release, recommit.
Write one thing you tried and one thing you learned since your last check-in.
Choose one optional burden to set down for the next day.
Name one supportive action to keep, then decide when to revisit it.
